The seaside resort town of Solenzara is located on the island of Corsica in the Corse-du-Sud department, 130 kilometers east of Ajaccio in the southwestern Corsica region of France. It is situated on the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio, and is also sometimes referred to as Sari-Solenzara, in reference to the charming, historic village of Sari that is located more than 400 meters above the main town of Solenzara, offering stunning views of the town and the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The harbor here offers a wide variety of activities, like sailing, diving and fishing, while the many pristine beaches in the area are sure to delight. In addition, Solenzara is surrounded by the Bavella Mountains, which offer a variety of hiking trails and stunning views, so consider reserving a rental car for your visit.
