Bremervoerde (Bremervörde) is situated near to the Vorden Lake; a spectacular natural scene scape where visitors can absorb some great views of the German countryside. It is easily accessible along the German road network, the Deutsche Fährstraße. It offers many activities sure to entertain any age group.

From the Lake House, you can take a tour around the farm area, barn and bakehouse to sample some of the local fare. The garden near the Lake House is also home to a medicinal herb garden. Cyclists and walkers will enjoy the opportunities for hiking and biking and can tour up to the Old Mill, which was originally built in Hamburg and transported here. There are many other routes to follow in the surrounding area, including the Forest Discovery Route and the Ostelkultur Route. There are also many regular fairs and markets in the town with some traditional fairground rides, performances and firework displays on offer. These generally occur in the autumn, and are family-friendly entertainment.
