An island in the centre of the Aegean Sea, Paros appeals to all kinds of holiday makers, no matter what time of year. It is both close to Naxos and Mykonos. Hiring a car will prove ideal for accessing some of the ancient sights including Castle Hill and the Ancient Cemetery. You can also take a day-trip to Kefalos Hill, which is home to delightful architecture with the charming Cycladic and Neoclassical buildings you can see there. The Museum of Paros is another recommendation, and includes exhibitions from the Byzantine era.

Take advantage of the great options for dining – check out the Padi Five Star Resort Diving Centre at Pavikia, which is the islands’ capital. There are lots of beaches for sun worshippers to relax in, including Agia Irini, which is gorgeous and process easiest to access by car.
