A near perfect village example of small town Sardinia, Bosa offers all the quaint charm and amenities of the Italian coast. It is perfect for a weekend getaway from the larger towns in Italy – indeed, it is possible to access Bosa by car from towns including Alghero, which is less than fifty kilometres away.
Frm the centre of town, you can wander the twining streets that are dotted with bistros and restaurants. The Corso 82, which is situated on the Corso Vittorio Emanuele, is one of the best regarded restaurants in the town and has reached Michelin standard. Visitors should note that there are many other options for enjoying seafood and, of course, pizza. Aside from this, you can expect to top up your tan on one of the many largely unspoilt beaches from the Isola Rossa. With plenty of rare wildlife around the town, a trip to Bosa is sure to prove cleansing for mind, body and spirit. |
