Meda is located in Monza and Brianza province and is also within driving access of cities including Milan which is within a reasonable driving distance. The name Meda itself comes from the concept of ‘Meta’. Some cultural highlights of Meda include the fish festival and the sports festivals that occur in July; during these times, you will be treated to some excellent fish dishes and festivities. Meda is a recommended site for boating throughout the year, and visitors can hire boats to suit their tastes. Also worth looking at are the ancient church of St. Nazzaro and Celso, which are located close to the edge of Seveso.
