Located in Lombardy, Milan is one of the foremost tourist attractions in the whole of Italy. Famous for its fashion and strong sense of style, Milan is a stunning city with lots to explore. Some of the many magnificent sites for visitors include the Teatro Alla Scala – the local Opera house – which was built in the eighteenth century. Additional buildings of note include the Palazzo Borronew and the Palazzo Marino – sumptuous reminders of the city’s decadent past. Some particular highlights for eating out include the Da Manzzela Restaurant and the Papa Francesco restaurant. Both of these serve extremely high quality ranges of cuisine at reasonable prices.
To reach Milan, drivers can easily access the city from any one of the three airports that service it. The routes towards the city afford some great views of Lake Garda, depending on your individual route. However, given the hectic nature of the city it is worth observing a little bit of caution when you are on the road in the centre. |
