Located along the cost of the Adriatic Sea, Pesaro is within driving distance of Cervia and Faro. It is also home to some great scenic views of the waterfront, and has a tranquil atmosphere that is ideal for recharging your batteries. Some tourist highlights include the Maritime Museum, which examines Pesaro’s impressive Naval history, and the Ducal Palace – a gorgeous building which was constructed in the fifteenth century.
The ideal time to visit Pesaro is between June and September as this is when the summertime ‘Sun and Stars’ schedule kicks in. Similarly, the Pesaro film festival attracts a host of international talent. The beautiful views of the ocean are perfect for enjoying some of the local seafood; recommended restaurants include the Ristorante Azzurra and the Trattoria Marinelli. To get to Pesaro by car, you can take the E55 and A14 routes. |
