Riva Del Garda is close to Lake Garda – one of the most famous scenic spots in Italy. It has an Austrian influence that it is easy to observe and makes the atmosphere here out of the norm for Italy. Riva Del Garda enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and has proved to be a popular tourist destination for decades. The waterfront area is a particular draw – you can try all sorts of different watersports here. Tenno Lake, close to Riva Del Garda, is also recommended for a change of scene.

One of the cultural highlights of the calendar year at Riva Del Garda is the Musica Riva Festival which is in July and has been running for almost three decades – attracting artists including the World Youth Orchestra. Some historical sights for visitors include the Riva Castle and Museum. The River Area is also home to a fortnightly market.
