La Linea is situated close to Gibraltar, and close to both Santa Barbara in the East and San Felipe in the West. With a strong history in trade, agriculture and fishery, it is particularly well known for its seafood. With great transport links to the neighbouring cities, it is ideal for travelling to and touring by car; it is well connected by road via the A383 and the A7. With its strong military history, visitors will appreciate this influence simply by walking around the city. Aside from touring the famous bullring, visitors can also check out the beautiful beaches that are found around the periphery of the town including the gorgeous Playa de Poniente and Levante beach. During a trip to La Linea, it is also recommended that visitors check the Municipal Historical Museum.
