Situated in the Andalucia region in Spain, the city of Marbella is one of Spain’s premier holiday spots. There are many architectural gems to be visited in Marbella, no less than thee Town Hall itself which is situated in the Alameda Park and dates back to the mid sixteenth century. Other examples of Moorish architecture dating back to the same period are the Apostle Santiago's Chapel, the ancient Bazan Hospital as well as the Museum for Contemporary Spanish Engravings among many others.
Possibly the finest botanical gardens on the Costa del Sol , the Jardin el Angel is well worth visiting as well as the other well cared for parks in the city.
People of Spain love their evening stroll, and Marbellans are no exception. The popular spot to kick of an evening’s entertainment is the Paseo Maritimo; this elegant promenade is seven kilometers of elegant waterfront.
