The lovely seaside town of Juan-les-Pins can be found on the French Riviera, or Côte d'Azur, between Cannes and Nice on the sunny southeastern coast of France. It lies very close to the original historic fishing village that once thrived here, but today it has become quite popular with luxury-seeking tourists, thanks to its fine sandy beaches, warm Mediterranean climate and thriving nightlife.
Music lovers may want to plan their trip to coincide with the popular jazz festival that is held in Juan-les-Pins each July, which has drawn artists like B.B. King, Little Richard, Ray Charles and Elvin Jones. Also of note, the 19th century Jardin botanique de la Villa Thuret is a world-renowned botanical garden that is free and open to the public. Interestingly, Jack Warner of Warner Brothers fame built Aujourd’hui here in 1938, and this visually stunning modernistic beach villa is a must-see for any visit to Juan-les-Pins |
