The amazing town of Vence Saint Paul, or Saint-Paul de Vence, is located on the French Riviera in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France, just under 18 kilometers from Nice. The warm, sunny Mediterranean climate makes this a popular tourist destination, while the surrounding landscape includes the craggy peaks of the Alps mountain range as well as a variety of pristine beaches.
While visiting Vence Saint Paul, be sure to check out the museums. From the more modern Maeght Foundation and Saint-Paul’s Museum to the Local Museum of History, these institutions will give visitors a much better idea of the culture here. Also of note, the old medieval fortified part of the village is one of the best-preserved examples that can be found in all of France. It lies perched on a promontory and boasts stunning ramparts, narrow streets and charming old homes that are sure to delight. |
